You probably don't know me, and I don't know you, but I would like to get to.... Please let me tell you why... In my younger days, I spent time in law enforcement instead of the military... which I now regret. As many of my friends know, I am totally and completely in support of you, and the men and women who serve with you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have had my own website for a number of years and it has not been anything spectacular. I have wondered how to change it...until last night... I met some young men, young enough to be MY SONS...who are shipping out soon for the middle east. I know what it's like to be far away from those you love and think they have forgotten you... HERE's WHAT I WOULD LIKE TO DO........ I want to redesign my site and make it a tribute and salute to YOU...the American Soldier!!! I would love to make it FOR and BY the soldiers, marines, airmen and seamen who are currently serving to protect MY freedom!!! I just need your permission, and I will make these changes tomorrow!! I would love to post your photos, and stories by you, or others with whom you serve....... I will be posting stories, photos, videos, news articles...ANYTHING I can find in SUPPORT of our troops. I also would like to get your addresses so I can spearhead the sending of CARE PACKAGES! I've been away from home before and looked forward to getting mail...especially when it was a package with something small that I need!! I may not agree with the REASONS for your deployment, and the commander in chief (whoever it is at the time) my not have gotten my vote...but YOU are why I have the freedom to sit here in my home and type this to you, a soldier I have never met. I support you and wish you safety!!! Please consider writing short articles and sending photos/videos for me to post.
